Find CoLab (findcolab.com) is operated by Kylie Kelly, a sole trader based in Australia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what your rights are. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
When you use Find CoLab, we collect:
If you tick the box at signup to receive Find CoLab tips and updates, we store that choice and add your name and email to our email provider (Flodesk) so we can send them. You can unsubscribe from any of those emails at any time, or email hello@kyliekelly.com.
If you join through a friend's referral link, we record who referred you so they can be rewarded when you subscribe to a paid plan.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We don't currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
The home page includes a walkthrough video hosted by Vimeo, which may set its own cookies when you play it. We count visits to Find CoLab using Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or follow you across other sites. If you arrive through a tagged link (for example from our community or an email), we note where you came from and save that with your account if you sign up, so we can tell which channels are working.
On our public home page we may show a small notification such as “Sarah from Sydney just joined Find CoLab”. It shows only your first name and the city taken from your timezone, and only once your profile is complete. Email hello@kyliekelly.com and we'll take you off it.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:
If you submit an application through a host's public application link without a Find CoLab account, the name, email, and other details you provide are shared with that host so they can review your application and contact you. They're not published anywhere else on the platform.
Your data is stored with Supabase, with industry-standard access controls (row-level security) restricting who can see what. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after in case you come back or where we need to for legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution reasons. If you'd like your account and data deleted sooner, email us and we'll action it.

If you're in the EU or UK, you have equivalent rights (including data portability) under the GDPR - the same contact details apply.
Find CoLab is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Find CoLab is based in Australia, and our service providers may store or process data overseas (for example, on servers operated by Supabase or Vercel). By using Find CoLab, you understand your information may be transferred outside your own country.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know by email or a notice in the app.
